Intercity serves a large geographic marketing ranging from Sault Ste Marie to the Manitoba border. Recent export opportunities have introduced a new customer base to Intercity and will ensure continued growth in the future.

Our Staff = Our Strength

Thirty staff members work hard to develop a business relationship with each and every customer. Our marketing area is properly represented with seven outside account managers, all of whom technically specialize in specific areas of our business. Our staff members are all long term employees who truly understand the service needs of our customers and the products they require.

National Representation

Intercity is a member of the IBC/IDI Group, which represents the independent group members on a national level. This membership is instrumental in negotiating preferred pricing for our customers, as well as representing Intercity in national supply agreements. Our combined sales efforts now reach over two billion dollars, yet we maintain all of the advantages and service levels of a local business.

Facility

Intercity Industrial operates out of 45,000 sq.ft of space, consisting of five industrial buildings located on two acres of land in the heart of Thunder Bay. This location provides easy access for all customers and is well established in Northern Ontario.

Equipment Repairs

Intercity Industrial performs repairs to all makes of industrial air, electric, and hydraulic tools. Our service technicians have many years of field experience and offer valuable “after sale” service to all of our customers. In addition, we offer out-call repairs to machine shop equipment and welding equipment.

Rentals

Intercity Industrial offers a complete line of powered and non-powered rental equipment to industrial accounts.

MROP Electronic Storeroom Solutions

We provide the lastest technology in storeroom management utilizing electronic data based Palm scanners EDI. Our customers have experienced reduced transactional costs, and now benefit from full product usage and cost reporting. We offer in-plant, trained storeroom management staff to ensure your storeroom is operating with maximum efficiency and minimal cost.
